A 24-hour gamified fundraising campaign that engages a community of current and new supporters

A Giving Day is a two week, multi-channel campaign leading up to a 24 hour day of giving. Using gamification to incentivise donors over a short and intense time frame, a Giving Day has proven results in achieving your goal.

Children’s Leukaemia and Cancer Research Foundation (CLCRF) held their inaugural Beat Child Cancer Matched Giving Day on November 15th and raised over $109,000 for the important cancer research they conduct.

Alannah & Madeline Day was held on Tuesday 13 September, 2022. The Matched Giving Day was fundraising for the Alannah & Madeline Foundation. All donations over a 12-hour period were doubled to a maximum of $100,000.
How it works
Motivation
The major donor’s generous gift goes four times further with a 24 hour rush campaign. For every dollar the community donates, 2/3/4 matchers will each give a dollar. For example x4 a $25 donation will effectively be $100!
